Lacaune

Mainly known for its beautiful natural surroundings, this peaceful village is surrounded by fields full of ewes, which are milked to make Roquefort cheese.

You can fish on lake Laouzas, or take in the naturally sculptured rock at Sidobre. One of these rocks looks like ET with a square head. There are menhirs in the area that date from over 4000 years ago. The local stone is used to pave the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
