Lautrec
If you looked hard enough at Toulouse-Lautrecs family tree, youd surely find a few founding fathers of this village, but the main reason to come here is less cultural, and more culinary: its Garlic. OK, it may make your breath smell, but any grandmother will tell you that its great for the circulation. Go to the Lautrec market every Friday from July to March, to buy local pink garlic.
While youre here, go to the Salette windmill, its recently been restored to working condition by a carpenter. The view is brilliant too, the hills of Lacaune and the Black Mountain are clearly visible.
