The prehistoric art of the Pyreneen Park is well worth a visit. There are excellent explanations of prehistoric drawing techniques. In the same vein, the Niaux Cave, a few kilometres from the town, has a selection of drawings of animals for which different charcoals were used. Bison, horses, and spectacular scenery using natural rock forms part of the drawing.
